Group Photography Classes

We have regularly scheduled group lessons that cost $150. They run from the end of June through the beginning of September, which coincides with our wildflower meadow being in full bloom. Our wildflower meadow gives us the perfect place for teaching a host of photographic techniques. In our general photo classes you will learn about depth of field, shutter speeds, macro, telephoto, as well as composition and tricks of the trade. Besides our meadow we have our own river, a waterfall, and bird feeding stations complete with photo blinds. Our aim is to make you a better photographer, so after class we encourage you to roam the property to put your new skills to use, and we are always around to help you if you need a little more help. Don't forget to pack a sandwich and join us for Photo Lunch to discuss any questions you might have after the class. Don't feel you have the right equipment to take a class? Our good friends at OM SYSTEM have provided us with a selection of cameras for our students to use during our classes.

Private Photography Lesson

Our private lessons are much the same as our group experience, except we will gear our instruction to your specific needs. We may also venture off-site to get the most opportunities for your particular instruction. Private lessons are also offered throughout the year and can be flexible depending on your schedule and photographic needs. The cost may vary, depending on the time of year and the program we decide upon.

Bed, Breakfast, & Photography

Are you coming from out of town? We are pleased to offer our Photo B&B to our visitors from far away. The package is typically three nights and two days of instruction. This is a much more intense learning experience as the extra time allows us more flexibility in how we structure the experience, which can include some time learning post production adjustments in Lightroom. The cost will be determined by the B&B you choose and the number of days you wish for your program. We can also recommend a few of the local B&B's or hotels incase you just need a place to stay when taking part in any of our classes.
